Orchestra Omaha (Formerly
The Omaha Municipal Orchestra) is a community orchestra of
volunteer/ amateur musicians who are dedicated to
performing great music at a high level of proficiency while
having fun. The orchestra also has a mission to provide a
venue for Omaha area soloists to gain experience and bring great works to our audience. All concerts are performed
without cost to the audience. Our Concerts are held at various locations in and around Omaha Nebraska and are usually held on
Sunday afternoons.
- We are always looking
for community members who are skilled musicians desiring
to join and play in a high quality ensemble.Our practices are
Thursday evenings August through May.

The winners of our 2nd Annual Youth Concerto Competition were Arthur Masyuk, violin and Izayah Dutcher, violin. The winners both received a $125 prize and a solo opportunity on our March 2, 2008 concert.
